Supercheap Auto Erina

In shopping at super cheap for over 20 years. The Erina store gave me one of the weirdest experiences ever. I was buying some items and asked a staff member about car fresheners . Advised go have a look. I made my way to the section. So a lot of products inline with the front counter about 1 metre away. Not wanting to make a car smell like a real estate agent. I took the cap off a couple of products. The one seemed to be okay so I gave it a quick squirt. And took the product to the counter. Only to see on the opposite side of the isle. Multiple signs that I was not to test or spray. I informed the cashier I had. And a was asked a series of odd questions ending in the statement an employee was anaphylaxis to non aerosol car freshers. I apologised and asked if the employee was present. The employee then made an announcement over the store intercom for "XXX" not to come to the front of the store. I purchased and left. What is going on super cheap? I will not return. And use the store next door if this sort of interaction seems acceptable.
